​The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC), as part of its ongoing efforts to foster partnerships with public and private sector institutions to bolster the Kingdom's position as a leading international horseracing destination, has signed a sliver partnership agreement with Bahrain Bourse for the 2024/2025 Horseracing Season. The agreement was signed by Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al-Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Bourse, and Mr. Yusuf Osama Buheji, CEO of REHC.

On this occasion, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al-Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Bourse, expressed the Bourse's unwavering support for horseracing, highlighting the significant progress achieved locally and internationally thanks to the invaluable support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Shaikh Khalifa further commended the exemplary leadership of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the REHC High Committee, emphasizing that Bahrain Bourse's sponsorship aims to support and ensure the continued success of the international and local horseracing programs which contribute to the development of the Kingdom's horseracing industry and ensuring its continued growth on the international stage.

Mr. Buheji, in turn, welcomed the partnership with Bahrain Bourse, featuring a full local race meeting and a race on a Bahrain Turf Series raceday in the upcoming 2024/2025 season. He expressed his thanks and appreciation to Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Bourse, for this support, which will undoubtedly contribute to the success of the local and international horseracing programs in Bahrain and the overall development of the sport.​
