Bahrain Bourse (BHB) received a delegation from the fourth International Diplomats Program (IDP) “Dhiyafa", organized by the Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies. The Program welcomed diplomat participants from 24 countries, as part of its financial literacy outreach.
Bahrain Bourse's participation in the Dhiyafa Program aims to provide foreign diplomats with induction session on the role of capital markets in supporting and developing economic growth, and builds upon Bahrain Bourse's efforts to promote Bahrain's capital market internationally enhancing the opportunities to attract foreign investment to promote economic growth in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The presentation covered various topics including trading and post-trading services offered by Bahrain Bourse and Bahrain Clear, BHB's recent ESG initiatives, market performance highlights over the years, and key developments of the capital markets sector. The presentation was concluded with Q&A from the participants and a tour at the trading floor.
It is worth noting that the International Diplomats Program aims to strengthen relations economic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and other countries. It also aims to inform the participants about the Kingdom's economic diversification and wide-ranging achievements. "Dheyafa" Program serves as a platform to exchange economic and cultural ideas and build permanent relations among diplomats.
